Ken earned a Bronze Star for his service in Vietnam, June 1972 to March 1973.

Ken earned a second Oak Leaf Cluster Joint Service Commendation Medal for his service in Iran.

              

 

Also in Iran he earned the Defense Meritorious Service Medal for service May 1978 to August 1979
